    Welcome to The Garden Gate: officially Leeds' Most Beautiful Public House. Built in 1902 and remains untouched.

    Not only a must for beer lovers, the pub also offers a unique chance to experience a wonderful slice of Leeds' history. In recognition of its historical, cultural and architectural importance the pub has just received a Grade II* Listing by English Heritage making it one of only a handful of pubs in the country to hold this honour.

    Having been saved from closure by Leeds Brewery, this hidden treasure is now entering a new phase in its history.

    Hand pulled ale has been re-introduced, 6 real ales at all times, alongside a great range of favourite draught beers, lagers and ciders and bottled products.

    New Food Menu, all home made fresh food being served daily. Mon to Fri 12 - 2 and weekends 12 - 5. Two meals from Main Menu for £12!!     Hunslet Hawks Heritage meeting 1st Weds of every month starts at 12. Former rugby players, people interested in Hunslet, anyone welcome to come and have a chat, maybe a beer or two. If you want meals or sandwiches available.

    One Sunday a month from 3pm Sing A Long with Piano player, dont be shy come and have an old fashioned sing song. Words provided.
